PVDC (Polyvinylidene Chloride) is a widely used high-barrier coating material. It exists as latex, which becomes relatively brittle after curing. The core technical challenge during coating and post-processing is to control coating weight and transparency, while reducing brittleness so the film can be stably applied at ambient room temperature. For a long time, this manufacturing difficulty limited the application of PVDC composite films.
Our PVDC coated film adopts pharma-grade PVC film as the substrate, with imported PVDC raw material from BASF, Germany, applied via multi-pass coating. During production, we strictly monitor production temperature, line speed, coating weight and coating cycles. All key indicators are fully inspected to meet and exceed overseas quality standards.
